OctopusOnFire: Frosty Faustings Review

Alright so this was was the second time i had attended a Frosty Faustings tournament. The first FF i went to was in 2010 and it was the tournament that i really started to understand the game. i went down with a group of my teammates From GrapSF, we entered the 3v3 team event i was was first on the team. i ended up OCVing the first 3 or 4 teams we played until we ran into big Marcus’s team. I’m not exactly sure what my placings were for that tournament but it was probably the best i had ever done in an out of state tournament at the time.

Fast forwarding to this event i was much more prepared and very confident. we drove to Chicago the night before to make sure we had enough sleep and were really prepared for the tournament, we ran into a problem though and that problem was alcohol haha… we ended up running into German Luger and his crew and stayed up playing till 6 am. running on 3 to 4 hours of sleep and slightly hungover i actually really wasn’t feeling to bad. The night before i was questioning whether or not there was going to be a turn out at all, to my surprise there was, but it was actually a bit to much to the point were it kind of ruined the tournament for me. The venue, nickel city,was a small arcade with a medium/small room in the back for special events.
